Creating unique social media content for your business on timely basis requires lots of time and efforts. Especially small business owners who try to create their own content. According to a survey, almost 73% of small businesses have started investing in marketing their business on social media.

Today I am going to share all the basic steps that can help you create fresh social media content for your business that shall drive you higher audience engagement, get more followers and create a brand value.

  1. Brainstorm your brand’s USP

Take out some time to sit by yourself and try to note down the USP of your brand and business. Even if you feel your thoughts are very basic and there are a hundred of others like you. Not to worry always have confidence in yourself and move forward. 

This very step is important to identify your customer base, where and on which social media platform will be your audiences, what type of content will attract your customers?

2. Your competitor’s content cannot be your content



While you sit to create social media content for your brand, first step you might take is to see what your competitors are posting. What type of posts are they updating on their social media? 

Sometimes what happens is you start following the steps of your competitors. Making posts like they have made on their social media, using similar hashtags and keywords and much more.

Social Media runs on these words. As a brand, you create content and wish your content gets maximum likes and shares. One trick that you can get more eyes rolling on your content is to engage with the content of others. Comment or share the posts that you like and feel like sharing it across your profile. This way you can get a chance to connect with other businesses as well as get some new content to post on your social media.
